Welcome to My Little Boardroom. By using our co-working and childcare services, you agree to the following terms. These ensure clarity, safety, and fairness for all families in our community.
Bookings & Attendance
- A booking is only valid once the £100 reservation fee has been paid and written confirmation has been issued by My Little Boardroom.
- Bookings are made in advance for regular, recurring days, with a minimum commitment of at least one half day per week.
- Your childcare place and co-working space are reserved for the same agreed days each week.
- To cancel, amend, or reduce a regular booking, a minimum of 30 days’ written notice is required.
Pricing, Fees & Invoicing
- The standard fees are as follows: Full Day (8:00am – 5:00pm): £135 per day. £90 childcare, £45 co-working. Childcare fees and co-working fees are invoiced separately.
- Adhoc – £25 per hour (minimum 2 hours), (£20 childcare/ £5 workspace). Childcare fees and co-working fees are itemised separately on one single invoice.
- Government-funded childcare hours (e.g. 15 or 30 hours) are deducted from the childcare element only, subject to eligibility and receipt of a valid government funding code. If you are not eligible the full day fee applies to the parent.
- Invoices for child care are issued monthly in advance. Payment is due within 7 days of issue. Invoices for desks are issued weekly to allow for cancellation where required.
- Funded hours are stretched across the year and are available between 9:00am and 4:00pm, Monday to Friday, during term-time and as otherwise communicated. Funded hours are applied to the childcare portion of fees only and do not cover co-working or additional services.
- Any childcare used outside of funded hours, including early drop-off, late pick-up, or additional booked hours, will be charged at the applicable non-funded rate.
- Where a valid funding code is not provided, expires, becomes invalid, or eligibility ceases, My Little Boardroom reserves the right to: Charge childcare at the full applicable rate, and/or Invoice retrospectively for any funded hours already used.
- Parents/carers are responsible for: Supplying their funding code prior to the start date, Ensuring their eligibility remains valid, Renewing their funding code in line with government requirements.
- Funded hours are subject to availability and capacity, and My Little Boardroom cannot guarantee availability of funded places at all times.
- Late fees apply to late pick up from nursery. starting around £20 for 1-10 minutes, increasing to £30 for 11 – 20 minutes, and £40 for 21 – 30 minutes, £50 + £1.50 per minute thereafter.
Payments & Cancellations
- A 12-month membership rate applies from the agreed start date.
- Missed days due to illness, holidays, or other absences are non-refundable, as childcare places and staffing are allocated in advance.
- Late or non-payment of invoices may result in suspension of access to childcare and/or co-working services until payment is received.
- The £100 reservation fee is refundable only after three (3) months of active membership, should you choose to cancel thereafter.
- Except as stated above, the reservation fee is non-refundable.
Co-working Space Guidelines
- The co-working space is provided as a professional working environment and must be used respectfully at all times.
- Parents must sign in and out of the facility. Children are not permitted in the co-working space, except in emergency circumstances.
- For the safety and security of all children, parents, staff, and members, tailgating is strictly prohibited. Parents, members, and visitors must not allow other individuals to follow them into the facility. All individuals must gain independent authorised access to the premises at all times.
- This measure is in place to protect the safety and wellbeing of everyone who attends My Little Boardroom.
- Workspace access is during your booked session hours only. Fees apply.
- Access to the co-working space is limited to your booked days and session hours only. Fee’s apply to overstaying assigned booking.
- Co-working fees will not be charged during periods when My Little Boardroom is closed, including public holidays and planned shutdowns.
- Co-working fees may be refunded where a minimum of seven (7) days’ written notice of non-attendance is provided.
Nursery Space & Safeguarding
- My Little Boardroom operates as an OFSTED-registered nursery and delivers childcare in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) statutory framework.
- The nursery space is a child-focused environment and access is restricted to registered children, authorised staff, and approved visitors only.
- For the safety and security of all children, parents, staff, and members, tailgating is strictly prohibited.
- All children and parents must be signed in and out daily by a parent or authorised adult.
- Parents/carers must disclose all relevant information relating to their child, including medical conditions, allergies, additional needs, or ongoing health concerns, prior to attendance and keep this information up to date.
- Any safeguarding concerns will be recorded and reported in line with statutory guidance and local safeguarding procedures.
- My Little Boardroom is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All childcare staff are: Subject to enhanced DBS checks, Trained in safeguarding and child protection procedures, Trained in paediatric first aid
- The nursery operates robust health, safety, and infection control procedures to maintain a safe environment for all children.
- Children who are unwell or infectious must not attend the nursery. My Little Boardroom reserves the right to refuse or discontinue care where attendance may compromise the health, safety, or wellbeing of the child, other children, or staff.
